ShoesAdviser is owned and operated by Jason Merrill. The site is intended primarily for a US audience, though anyone anywhere is welcome to read and use the content here.
What This Site Is For
ShoesAdviser exists to help people make smarter decisions when buying shoes. Everything published here, including buyer guides, product reviews, comparisons, and recommendations, is meant to be genuinely useful to the average shoe buyer.
That’s it. We’re not a store, we’re not a shoe brand, and we’re not affiliated with any manufacturer. We’re an independent content site with one goal: helping you find the right pair.
The Content on This Site
Everything you read on ShoesAdviser, including the articles, guides, reviews, images, and overall site design, belongs to us unless clearly stated otherwise. It is protected by copyright.
You are absolutely welcome to read, reference, and share our content. What you cannot do is copy it wholesale and republish it somewhere else as your own. That includes scraping articles, republishing full reviews on other websites, or repackaging our buyer guides without permission.
If you’d like to quote a portion of something we’ve written for a blog post, article, or social media, that’s generally fine as long as you credit ShoesAdviser and link back to the original page. If you want to use something more substantial, just email us and we’ll work something out.
Our Opinions Are Just That
Everything on this site reflects our honest opinions based on research, testing, and experience. But at the end of the day, they are opinions, not guarantees.
Shoes fit differently on different people. What works brilliantly for one person might not work as well for another. A shoe we rate highly might not be the right pick for your specific foot shape, gait, or use case. We do our best to flag those kinds of nuances in our content, but please use your own judgment too before buying.
We are not responsible for purchases you make based on our recommendations. We give you our best and most honest take, but the final call is always yours.
Accuracy of Information
We work hard to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date. But shoes get discontinued, prices change, new versions come out, and retailers update their stock all the time. There will occasionally be moments where something on the site is slightly out of date before we get a chance to refresh it.
We cannot guarantee that every piece of information here is perfectly current at all times. If you spot something that seems wrong or outdated, please let us know at webincomeplus@gmail.com and we’ll sort it out.
